Eragon is about a poor farm boy who is on a quest. After the recent events, such as hatching a dragon egg, and his uncle's mysterious death, Eragon isn't just a farm boy, he is a Rider. He must choose whether to join the Varden, a group dedicated to the downfall of a flawed king, or plead for mercy. Now, he must face Urgals, Kull, and even a Shade.He finds an Elf in prison, and finds that she is poisoned with a rare poison. They need to get the antidote before she dies. Will they save the Elf before time runs out? Read the book to find out!I think that this book is well written, humorous in some parts, and jam-packed with action!I would recommend this book from the ages of 11-adult.-6th grade student

i love this book, it is the best ever. the plot is thrilling and the book takes me into its fantasy world. It is like lord of the rings too.

This was an excellent book. It kept you going. It is about a farm boy which found a saphire rock and was going to exchange it for money for food because his family was very poor. So later on he figures out that it was not a rock but a dragon egg. After wards his family is killed and he finds out that he is one of the last Dragon Riders. So he and his dragon set off on journeys fighting elves, dwarves,the varden, and the evil king Gabatori.

This book was the greatest book I have ever read!It was kind of like a Lord of the Rings storyline except better it also had a little magic, a war and all good vs. evil and a ending that leaves you excited but mad get this book!And I cant wait till the 2nd 1 i am getting it the first day it comes out if you like knights and dragons and all that middle age stuff get this!!

This has got to be one of my fave books, as it has everything in it... I WANNA READ THE SEQUEL, ELDEST!!!!! That was supposed to come out this past summer, but now, I guess it's unknown. I'm sorry I won't be more helpful in the book, but even the smallest detail will give away a huge part, as each detail plays a role in the story.G2G. Make sure you read this book.

I think this is a great book! I couldn't stop reading it! I read right thrpugh class!(which is very very rare!) Eragon was very brave and strong in my point of view. He had to deal with many sad deaths but he still had the courage to stand up and fight. I think is one of the best books i have ever read! I think all the kids and adults who like fantasy and adventurous, they will surely LOVE this book!
